Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior Manager, Project Accounting & Systems Administration is responsible for the Project Controls and Accountings areas of Capital Deployment within FacilitGroup, which includes financial and compliance-related functions, as well as being the primary lead for the monitoring, improvement and operation of the project management system, eBuilder. This position also directs the work and development of the Senior Project Accountants.

This position is instrumental in leading performance improvement transformation initiatives to drive improved process efficiencies, enhanced personnel performance, improved project cost reporting capabilities, stronger internal controls and greater transparency of data. The position is also a key finance business partner to the Capital Deployment team in delivering an annual routine spend of approximately $450M in infrastructure projects in addition to environmental performance needs, remediation efforts and special projects.

•​​​​​​​Responsibilities:

+ ​Direct oversite the Senior Project Accountants who are responsible for following:

+ ​Processing and review of project invoices (including researching and resolving outstanding payments), purchase orders

+ ​Coordination of project closeouts

+ ​Lawson Financial System Management, inclusive of system balancing and vendor setup

+ ​Primary contact for vendor system related issues, progress payment questions

+ ​Review and processing of contract documents, change orders

+ ​Partners with relevant stakeholders in ensuring strong internal controls are maintained across contractor billings, change orders and payments. This role includes working closely with all members of Capital Deployment as well as Internal Audit to monitor controls and make process enhancements as necessary.

+ Acts as eBuilder admin/SME ensuring appropriate access; builds and maintains structured workflows, dashboards, system templates and is responsible for the development and facilitation of trainings for eBuilder users.

+ ​Oversees development of technology reporting within eBuilder to capture data, produce KPIs and develop cost management tools to drive performance improvement

+ Reviews, monitors and enhances current workflows for operational efficiencies within Capital Deployment processes

+ Key lead in ensuring data accuracy of eBuilder system inclusive of project dates, standard naming conventions, project setup/reporting

+ Coordinates with Capital Asset Management (CAMS) and Corporate Accounting to ensure HCA’s capital objectives and capital reporting requirements are met. This includes the overall management of capital transfer process, obtaining project IDs project setup and notice of capital changes for capital release.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required

+ MBA or CPA ​ is required.

+ 5-7 years of progressive accounting/auditing/management/decision support experience, preferably in healthcare hospital setting is required.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
