Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Media Manager for a client. Reporting to the Postproduction Manager Sr. This role will be responsible for organization, delivery, and archiving of assets for our localization project. The individual will play a critical accuracy, quality, and linguistic integrity of the translated content by working with role in ensuring the Translators to provide accurate files for their review in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should be a fast learner, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have strong organizational skills. In addition, the individual will assist in the review of translated text and audio files from English to Brazilian Portuguese. Using Artificial Intelligence, the individual would assist with the localization of the final product directed toward the target audience. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and linguistic integrity of the translated content. The ideal candidate should be fluent in the target language and English, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have strong organizational skills.

Essential functions

• Upload and download assets to online portal for A.I. transcription, translation, and voice generation.

• Deliver final assets to key stakeholders in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with the team to provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.

• Maintain clear and organized documentation, tracking any changes or corrections made.

• Communicate effectively with project managers, translators, and other stakeholders to address any concerns regarding the translated content.

• Review translated text and audio files for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines and standards.

• Identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or linguistic issues in the translated content.

• Verify that the translated material maintains the intended meaning and conveys the original message effectively.

• Ensure proper grammar, punctuation, syntax, and terminology are used in the translated content.

• Conduct research to verify the accuracy of specialized or technical terminology in the translations.

• Collaborate with the team to provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.

• Maintain clear and organized documentation, tracking any changes or corrections made.

• Communicate effectively with project managers, translators, and other stakeholders to address any concerns regarding the translated content.

Skills and Requirements

-· Native fluency in the target language with an excellent understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions.

-Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in the content.

• Exceptional organizational skills to handle and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Eager to learn new software to execute translation workflow.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.

• Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and project requirements.

• Portfolio to demonstrate past project management experience.

• Proficient in English, with the ability to comprehend and evaluate the original English text.

• Previous experience in translation or language review is highly desirable. · Familiarity with translation software and artificial intelligence voice generators.

• Mid to high level experience with Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder null
