Job Description

Insight Global in hiring a Mid-level Cloud Engineer to support a federal contract at Fort Meade. This individual will be supporting a software modernization effort of a legacy system. They will be required to build out CI/CD pipelines, migrate on-prem applications to MS Azure running on RedHat Linux, leverage Kubernetes for automated deployments and build infrastructure as code in Terraform. This individual will be heavily supporting high level stakeholders and will be interfacing, presenting, and communicating with them frequently.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in information Technology or relevant area of study combined with 5 years of experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

- Active DOD Secret security clearance or Top Secret

- Mid-Level experience performing migrations of applications to MS Azure

- Experience standing up and building CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with EKS/AKS/OpenShift

- Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Experience working in a RedHat Linux environment

- Experience performing AWS Cloud migrations

- Experience leveraging Docker for containerization

- Experience following DOD SAFe Agile practices - Experience or familiarity working in an Azure environment

- Experience coding and scripting in Java or React

- Experience heavily leveraging Kubernetes for automation functions and deployments null
