    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Application Engineer to join a global Semiconductor team at one of our largest manufacturing clients. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse professionals worldwide, driving growth through customer engagement, new application development, and product commercialization. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives that expand product applications, support commercialization efforts, and deliver impactful solutions across various markets. Responsibilities include leveraging technical expertise to support customers, identifying and implementing product enhancements, and utilizing market and competitive insights to advance product positioning. A strong emphasis is placed on cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and proactive development of new commercial opportunities.

     

    This role requires going onsite in the St. Paul, MN area 3 days per week.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Bachelors degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Material Science or related field (completed and verified prior to start)

     

    -3 years of application development experience in a private, public, government or military environment

     

    -2 years of application development experience within the semiconductor industry

     

    -Experience surrounding the Packaging sector of the Semiconductor industry -Experience in advanced packaging, especially as an application engineer

     

    -MS or PhD with strong technical skills and the ability to apply them in a commercial context

     

    -Proven leader with ability to communicate clearly across functions, including lab, manufacturing, and business teams

    -Experience using phase-gate commercialization processes null
