    Job Description

    Day to Day:

    Insight Global is looking for a Python Developer to join the team of one of their large clients within the automotive finance organization within either within Detroit, MI or Charlotte, NC. This person will be pivotal in helping the client develop an API product supporting the internal enterprise. This role will have heavy Python development, API development, and all development will be in the client's AWS cloud environment.

    - Specific Responsibilities:

    • API Development & Integration

    • SOAP APIs

    • Python Development

     

    Deploying solutions to AWS

     

    Compensation: $55/hr to $65/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    At least a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study

    5+ years of experience as a software developer/engineer

    • Extensive experience with Python Development

    • Mainstream libraries such as Pandas, data frames, NumPy, etc.

    Experience with Version Control tools

    • Terraform and Gitlab in particular

    Extensive experience with API development

    • Specifically with SOAP APIs

     

    Extensive experience with AWS environments

     

    Professional background working at enterprise level corporations - Any DevSecOps experience

     

    - Workday experience is a plus

    SAP experience is a plus null
