Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and skilled Information Security Engineer to join the enterprise information security team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organizations IT infrastructure and data from cyber threats. You will play a key role in identifying security vulnerabilities, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks, and responding to security incidents. As an integral part of the security team, you can expect to be a strong critical thinker who possesses exceptional problem-solving abilities and technical skillsets to work in a fast-paced environment with IT teams to ensure security compliance and risk mitigation and execute the highest level of security across the organization.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

810 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or IT.

Proven hands-on experience with:

SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm)

Endpoint protection solutions Preferred: SentinelOne; alternatives: CrowdStrike, Sophos

Vulnerability management tools Preferred: Rabbit7 Platform; alternatives: Tenable, Qualys

Security orchestration platforms Preferred: Rabbit7 Platform; alternatives: Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Swimlane

Email security solutions Preferred: Check Point; alternatives: Proofpoint, Mimecast

Security awareness training platforms Preferred: KnowBe4 (Nob4); alternatives: Cofense, Infosec IQ

Strong knowledge of Network protocols and security architecture

Experience utilizing encryption techniques and secure application development

Capable of:

Conducting thorough incident response and proactive threat hunting

Integrating and managing security tools across complex environments

Will be responsible for owning a new enterprise password manager; must be capable of driving change and owning the rollout as the organization adopts this solutions.

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail; proactive and accountable in high-pressure environments.

Excellent at translating complex security concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborating across technical and business teams. Experience working in the similar environments as this customer, utilizing:

o Rabbit7 Platform for IDR, vulnerability scanning, and orchestration.

o Check Point for email security.

o SentinelOne for endpoint protection.

o Knowledge of KnowBe4 (Nob4) for security awareness training. null
