    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Remote Software Engineering Manager for one of our top Financial companies in the Des Moines area. This leader will be helping lead back end development on a critical data platform for the organization and will need to be comfortable in hands on development as well as managerial tasks. This manager will oversee a team of 4 and will be more hands on than most managers. They will lead code reviews as well as set goals and ensure team alignment to those goals. This team is in charge of centralizing all data in their modern platform. Someone in this role will need to have previous leadership experience and demonstrate excellent communication skills. The annual salary for this role is between $120,000-$150,000/yr.

    Skills and Requirements

    2-3 years of Node.js

     

    Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes cluster (containerization)

     

    Understanding of how to work with Kafka topics

     

    5-10 years of development experience

     

    Previous leadership experience Java
