Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a fulltime employee for our client who is looking for a Data Architect. This group provides professional services to help the clients business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes. IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures, The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.

The Data Architect is responsible for following emerging trends in data and recommending their implementation to solve complex business problems resulting in delivery of insights at an accelerated pace.

Responsibilities:

Track and implement emerging data trends to solve complex business problems and accelerate insights.

Join and contribute to existing and new tech projects.

Provide expertise and direction for strategic architecture plans, system design, and implementation standards.

Ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality data capabilities.

Collaborate with teams to understand data dependencies, anticipate risks, and guide project decisions based on the data domain roadmap.

Assess feasibility and complexity of future initiatives, contributing to data domain analysis.

Develop an integrated view of data capabilities using industry best practices.

Recommend solutions for data transformation initiatives and enhance existing data capabilities.

Define and publish data standards, best practices, and roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture.

Create conceptual and logical data models to inform physical design of projects.

Co-develop data governance frameworks, including standards and controls.

Deliverables:

Domain Analysis Specification & Findings: Define data domain, evaluate maturity, and identify investment opportunities.

Document Data Governance Capabilities: Define data attributes, document governance processes, and map data lineage.

Data Mapping Document: Assist in creating and delivering Conceptual & Logical Data Models.

Skills and Requirements

- 4+ years - Experienced with cutting edge technology and innovation (emerging tech)

- 6-8+ years- Data Architecture and engineering

- 6+ years - Large Scale Data solutions (enterprise data exp)

- Snowflake and JSON OR XML

AI/ML technologies

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field P&C Domain null
