Job Description

A large worldwide manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for a permanent placement in Arvada, CO. The I&C Engineers will work on a team of 4 to play a crucial role in the creation and design of automation control systems that are attached to industrial pumps and compressors for client companies in multiple growing industries. Main responsibilities include design validation, creating as-built drawings, selecting instrumentation and transmitters, recalibration. They will be creating architecture and loop diagrams, diagnosing automation problems, configuring software packages, programming Siemens/Rockwell PLCs and HMI, factory acceptance testing, and providing a bill of materials. Finally, they will consult with the manufacturing team from startup to integration, including hardware architectures and design validation, and coordinating with the shop floor, including mechanical and electrical teams.

The position has room for advancement within the company, which is diversified into multiple industries and recession-proof. Employees work a 9/80 on site schedule after training.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

8+ years' experience in Controls Engineering for Industrial Centrifugal Compressors (Ex. 480V/500W+ 3 phase motors attached to a 400HP+ high flow pump and compressor)

4+ years' Experience programming Allen Bradley with Factory Talk view

High level knowledge of calculus equations related to large rotating equipment

Ability to travel 20%, sometimes internationally (owns passport) Experience in Oil/Gas or Petrochemical

1+ years' Experience developing parametric family content in a Revit environment

1+ years' Experience working with domestic and international Vendors null
