    Job Description

    Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director of Business Development to expand their client base in the United States. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in clinical research services sales who thrives in a consultative, high-integrity environment. Youll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities with biotech and pharma clients.

     

    Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

     

    Analyze potential opportunities and develop tailored business plans and sales strategies.

     

    Lead the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to proposal development and contract negotiation.

     

    Collaborate with internal teams (Proposals, Operations, Project Management) to align on strategy, pricing, and delivery.

     

    Educate internal stakeholders on client culture, needs, and expectations to ensure successful handoff and execution.

     

    Maintain high visibility within client organizations and monitor satisfaction through regular touchpoints.

     

    Represent PSI at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

     

    Act as a liaison between U.S. clients and global operations teams as needed.

    Skills and Requirements

    Bachelors degree in health sciences or related field (or equivalent experience)

    35 years of business development experience (in the CRO or clinical research services industry preferred)

     

    Proven success in external sales roles, ideally selling full-service CRO offerings

     

    Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools

     

    Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills

    Ability and willingness to travel regularly null
