• Telecommunications Technician

    Job Description

    A large manufacturing facility in Covert, MI is looking for a telecommunications technician to join their team. This person will be responsible for decommissioning the companies current Nortel (Meridian) phone system and replacing it with Team's calling. This job will include punching down cables, installing jumper cables and at times being on fork lifts at high heights. There are 100 people that need to be moved off the Nortel phone system and set up with Teams calling.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Extensive telecommunications experience/ phone system knowledge

     

    Experience supporting business phone systems - including PBX systems

     

    Experience with Teams Calling Plan

    Previous background in IT - experience with end user support null
