Job Description

An employer is looking for a Striim Data Engineer to sit remotely. The client is modernizing one of their critical tier 0 applications and moving the data from on prem Oracle to GCP Cloud. They are using Striim to do this data migration.

Responsibilities:

Proven experience with Striim platform for real-time data integration and streaming analytics.

Strong understanding of CDC (Change Data Capture) concepts and implementation using Striim.

Hands-on experience in configuring Striim data flows, sources, targets, and transformations.

Proficiency in integrating Striim with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Azure, AWS.

Ability to work with various data sources (e.g., Oracle, GoldenGate Trail, Kafka, SQL Server, MySQL, files) and targets (e.g., Google Spanner, BigQuery, RESTAPI).

Experience with real-time data processing, filtering, enrichment, and delivery.

Familiarity with Striim SQL-based query language for data transformation and filtering.

Knowledge of data pipeline monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in Striim.

Ability to collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to design scalable streaming solutions.

Proficient in developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support Striim operations, including automated deployment, configuration management, and real-time monitoring integration

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years using Striim for data integration and streaming analytics

-Experience configuring, creating, and deploying data pipelines using Striim to ingest data

-Experience deploying clusters and configuring dataflows

-Strong understanding of CDC (Change Data Capture)

-Striim SQL-based query language

-Cloud experience (any is acceptable) GCP experience null
