    We are seeking an experienced Change Manager (Contractor) to lead and execute change management activities across both IT and business projects. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structure. An initiative-taker with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, this individual will play a key role in ensuring project initiatives meet objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage. This contract role is full-time, project-based with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Education and Experience

     

    Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field.

     

    Minimum of 7 years of experience in change management, including significant experience with both IT and business-related full-scale initiatives.

     

    Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end change management activities across complex, cross-functional projects.

     

    Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global role, considering diverse business needs, cultures, and regulatory environments.

     

    Experience working in both agile and traditional project environments.

     

    Prior consulting experience, with the ability to quickly assess organizational dynamics, build credibility, and deliver results.

     

    Knowledge and Abilities

     

    Deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

     

    Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

     

    Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

     

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

     

    Excellent facilitation, coaching, and presentation capabilities.

     

    Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

     

    Highly organized with attention to detail and a focus on execution.

     

    Understanding business processes across various functions, such as finance, supply chain, and human resources.

     

    Technical Skills

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) for documentation, presentations, and collaboration.

     

    Familiarity with project management approaches and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project).

     

    Experience using or creating digital tools for change management activities (e.g., stakeholder analysis templates, communication trackers, impact assessment tools).

     

    Comfort working with learning management systems (LMS), content development platforms (e.g., Articulate), and virtual training tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

     

    Resourceful and tech-savvy, with the ability to rapidly learn and apply emerging technologies, including AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to streamline workflows, enhance deliverables, and accelerate the creation of change management assets and communications.

     

    Ability to work with data visualization or survey tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SurveyMonkey) to support reporting, readiness assessments, and feedback collection.

     

    Working knowledge of IT implementations, digital transformation projects, or enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS) is a plus. Certifications are a Plus

     

    Prosci Change Management Certification, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or equivalent formal training in change management methodology

     

    Project Management Professional (PMP)

     

    Lean Six Sigma (LSS)
