    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a SDE2 to join their client's team. This person will be responsible for managing and maintaining the high volumes of transactional data from over 20,000 sources. They will be working with large sets of datasets, ensuring efficient data processing and integration, helping to modernize existing systems.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    3+ years in software engineering roles.

     

    Experience in integrating APIs to fetch data from various sources.

     

    Proficiency in Python, Typescript/JavaScript, and SQL.

     

    Knowledge of core AWS services.

     

    Proficiency with Git for version control, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI), and InfrastructureasCode using Terraform. Handson experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.

     

    Expertise with InfrastructureasCode (Terraform, Serverless Framework, AWS CDK).

     

    Exposure to realtime data processing (Kinesis, Kafka, Flink, or Spark Streaming).

     

    Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js serverless patterns and eventdriven architectures.

    Observability tooling (Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) and performance tuning null
