    Job Description

    One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for 2 Service Technicians (HVAC) to support ongoing healthcare projects in the Northern VA and Maryland area. These individuals will be responsible for but are not limited to installation, troubleshooting and repair of commercial HVAC and commercial plumbing systems.

     

    A/C and Refrigerator Walk-in Units

     

    Air Handling Units including Rooftop Units, Self-Contained Units, IT Room Systems

     

    Backflow Devices including testing, repairing and re-certifications

     

    Boiler Systems

     

    Chillers and Cooling Towers

     

    Computer Room A/C Units

     

    Fire/Smoke Damper Inspection and Repair for JCAHO Compliance

     

    Heat Exchangers

     

    Heat Pumps

     

    Medical Gas Installation and Repairs

     

    Motors

     

    Pneumatics, Valves and Control Systems

     

    Piping Repair

     

    Steam Repairs

     

    Preventative Maintenance Contracts

     

    Pumps, Ejector Pits and Sump Pumps

     

    Steam Specialties, Pressure Reducing Stations, Condensate Traps & Pumps

     

    Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems

     

    This will be a fully onsite role with some travel required. The hours are typically 6am - 2:30pm, Monday-Friday with some nights and weekends expected. Candidates must be flexible to work those hours.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years of Commercial HVAC and or Plumbing service experience

     

    Current CFC Certification is required for HVAC technicians.

     

    Familiarity with Liebert Systems and Air Cool Chiller Systems required for HVAC technicians.

     

    Virginia HVAC and/or Plumbing Masters License a plus. null
