    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a Lead Engineer to support one of our large retail clients. This person will be supporting the "Air Food and Water Team" (like "keeping the lights on") within three domains - Loyalty, Communications and Personalization. The "AFW" team does not participate in any new development, but they maintain existing applications, production support . The lead will be responsible for understanding the environment through and through, providing technical guidance, and prioritizing the development of other engineers through team communication. 50% of this role requires leadership responsibility while the other 50% of this role requires technical support in the GCP, Java, Springboot and Microservices environment. It would be beneficial for this person to come from a retail/ecommerce environment with an understanding of marketing technology.

    Lead Engineer experience

     

    Communicating with Engineering Owners, supporting developers with technical solutions, understanding the environment at a high level

     

    Backend Technical Stack - Java, Springboot and Microservices

     

    Marketing Technology Application Knowledge

     

    AEO third party technology examples: Personalization Tool: Bloomreach and Loyalty Tool: Crowdtwist

     

    GCP and Kubernetes

     

    Retail/Ecommerce experience CI/CD Deployment Pipeline
