Stack Developers, Decision Science in Atlanta,
Georgia.
Key
Responsibilities
+ Partnerwith data scientists and data engineers to operationalize models and deliverinsights to the business.
+ Responsiblefor ensuring that machine learning (“ML”) code, models, and pipelines aredeployed successfully into production and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
+ Continuouslyintegrate and ship code into Delta’s on-premises and cloud productionenvironments and transform data science protypes and apply appropriate MLalgorithms and tools.
+ Trainand retrain ML models. Develop deep learning systems for various use casesbased on the business needs and automate model training, testing, anddeployment via ML continuous delivery pipelines.
+ Builddata APIs and data delivery services that support critical operational andanalytical applications for Delta’s internal business operations, customers,and partners.
+ Ensurea good data flow between databases and backend systems and design and implementmetrics to verify model and algorithm effectiveness.
+ Optimizesolutions for performance and scalability.
+ Definekey performance indicators (KPIs) and acceptance criteria for model performancein production.
+ Ensurethat Delta methodology, standards, and procedures are adopted and implementedand guarantee that technical solutions meet customers’ business goals and thatcustomer satisfaction is high.
+ Serveas a point of contact for technical issues, creating documentation, andmonitoring service levels.
+ Coordinateactivities with internal and external technology owners and service providersand consult within their project team and with other Delta teams, as well aswith outside vendors or consultants to ensure project or product integrity.
+ Mentor other Senior Developers on the team.
+ Telecommuting permitted 2-3 daysper week.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of experience in software engineering.
+ Microservices design patterns andtools, and relational or non-relational databases
+ Server-side application developmentincluding data services and API development utilizing modern languages andframeworks including Java/J2EE, Python, or Node.js
+ Web application development usingAngular, JavaScript, and Typescript Engineering
+ Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloudtechnologies and cloud-based application development
+ Architecture and design for moderncloud-based application
+ Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CDpipeline, and Build tools
+ Establishing coding standards,performing code reviews, assessing code vulnerabilities, and identifyingdefects
