    General Summary:

    Oversee all aspects of ticket operations for our intercollegiate athletics programs. This position is responsible for managing ticketing systems, coordinating box office operations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across all platforms, including online sales and in-venue services. The Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing will also be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a student ticketing staff, and will oversee game day ticketing operations to ensure an efficient and welcoming environment for fans. This role plays a key part in enhancing fan engagement, streamlining operations, and supporting overall attendance and departmental goals. Ability to work nights and weekends.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage Athletics Ticket Office.

    + Direct all game day ticket operations, often at multiple sites with multiple events per day.

    + Plan & implement ticketing efforts in collaboration with marketing, especially related to season tickets, ticket packages and group sales.

    + Deliver a high-quality customer service experience across all touchpoints (online, phone & in-person).

    + Hire, train and supervise all ticket operations staff including on-site event managers.

    + Ensures efficient operation of the athletic ticketing system, including all software and hardware, and maintains PCI compliance.

    + Meet season and single game ticketing revenue expectations

    + Ticketing Deposits and Audits, as well as assist with donor relations and special events as needed.

    Necessary Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + One (1) year of relevant experience in ticketing, business and/or sales operations, or in an athletic department.

    + Microsoft office products, ability to operate ticketing software and donor management software.

    + Excellent public relations, oral and written communication skills.

    + Ability for positive interaction with donors.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree

    + Three (3) years of relevant experiences in athletics ticketing operations

    + Experience with TicketReturn ticketing system.

    + Proven ability at organizing spreadsheets and seating charts.
