Our client, **a major U.S. airline,** is actively looking for a **Technical Product Owner** to join their team in **Atlanta!** This role is onsite hybrid so local candidates are required.
***This is a 1 year initial contract with the opportunity to extend or convert***
Required Skills & Experience
+ **7+ years of hands-on experience working as a Product Owner**
+ **Solid understanding of concept and principles of agile methodology; strong knowledge of Agile/SDLC development methodologies**
+ **Solid understanding of product features;** ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from feasibility through to production
+ Solid understanding of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project
+ Airline or hospitality industry experience, as well as business process re-engineering and/or extensive experience working with agile teams, is a big plus
What You Will Be Doing
+ **Responsible for conducting sophisticated and detailed research of existing processes, systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals/intent of the assigned products**
+ **Work with Product Manager, and SMEs to prioritize feature development, based on the business value**
+ **Elicit and create initial epics/features and elaborating into user scenarios that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements**
+ Deliver business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mockups/demos, etc.
+ Collaborate with a multi-functional teams inside a Scrum framework
+ Conduct work sessions and document new features, requirements, and strategies
+ Perform testing, track bugs, enhancements and ensure issues are resolved before promoting to production environments
+ Support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches
