Overview
The Compliance Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the execution and day-to-day administration of the company’s asset/fund management compliance program. This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, task tracking, document readiness, and system support across various regulatory and contractual obligations, such as offtake agreements, loan covenants, tax equity, environmental permits, and land lease requirements. This is an ideal position for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in contract administration, asset management, and compliance operations within renewable energy or infrastructure space.
Responsibilities
Data & Document Management
+ Enter, validate, and maintain accurate compliance data from the executed agreements such as PPA, Loan, Tax Equity, Lease agreements, etc. provided by the asset management and fund management teams to the compliance management system.
+ Process control and submissions for key compliance deliverables (e.g., regulatory filings, invoices, notices, reports).
System Support & Workflow Monitoring
+ Support system configurations and task workflows in the compliance management system.
+ Coordinate with CM, AM, FM, and system vendors related to change requests, troubleshooting issues and improve the usability of the CMS.
+ Assist in building dashboards and generating recurring compliance reports.
Compliance & Stakeholder Support
+ Support compliance program strategic initiatives
+ Compile and organize documentation for monthly internal reporting.
+ Support responses to data and document requests from asset management, fund management, legal, tax, and regulatory teams.
+ Maintain transparency and accountability through clear status updates and proper documentation and communication logs.
Education & Experience Required
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Legal Studies, Public Administration, Environmental Studies, or related field.
+ 2+ years of experience in compliance operations, legal support, contract management, or administrative project coordination.
+ Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and document management systems.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and tracking.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
+ Experience in energy, infrastructure, or financial services industries.
+ Familiarity with compliance management platforms (e.g., VComply, Smartsheet, or other task tracking tools).
+ Basic understanding of regulatory obligations, loan, tax equity, PPA, lease agreements or contract structures.
