    SUNY Westchester Community College (Valhalla, NY)


     

    The Social Sciences Department of SUNY Westchester Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty to prepare and teach courses in World Geography.

     

    All candidates must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practice within the classroom.

    Job Requirements:

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must have a Master's Degree and a minimum of one year of teaching experience.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: It is preferred that the successful candidate possess a Ph.D.

    Additional Information:

    WORK SCHEDULE: This position is primarily for in-person teaching. Modes of instruction may include online synchronous and asynchronous teaching. To teach online, appropriate SUNY Westchester Community College training may be required.

     

    SALARY & BENEFITS: $93.84 per hour. No benefits.
