Description We are looking for a skilled Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will drive cloud migration strategies, enhance collaboration tools, and ensure the security and efficiency of cloud environments. Based in The Woodlands, Texas, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud adoption strategy, ensuring a smooth transition from on-premises to cloud environments.

• Lead migration projects, including workload assessments, application modernization, and data transfer processes.

• Evaluate and recommend cloud service providers and technologies that align with organizational objectives.

• Optimize Microsoft 365 environments by implementing governance, compliance, and efficiency best practices.

• Enhance collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online to improve user productivity.

• Implement advanced identity and access management practices, leveraging tools like Azure AD and Conditional Access.

• Ensure the organization complies with data retention, security, and regulatory requirements in cloud ecosystems.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen cloud security and implement threat detection measures.

• Establish and enforce policies for resource provisioning, cost management, access control, and data protection.

• Provide leadership with expert advice on cloud technologies and industry best practices. Requirements

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure and extensive experience in Microsoft 365 administration and optimization.

• Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects, including on-premises to cloud transitions and Microsoft 365 tenant migrations.

• Strong understanding of identity consolidation and migration, including Azure AD tenant migrations and hybrid identity solutions.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Advanced knowledge of licensing, compliance, and data governance within Microsoft 365 environments.

• Demonstrated ability to secure cloud environments using advanced security configurations and incident response strategies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments.
