Description
Supervise and manage the performance of Senior Accountants, including assigning responsibilities,
reviewing work and conducting performance evaluations.
• Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance to team members to support ongoing development.
• Ensure team adherence to accounting deadlines and departmental procedures.
• Oversee general ledger activities across multiple companies or business units.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate classification and recording of financial transactions in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage and coordinate the monthly and annual close process.
• Review financial statements and internal reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
• Provide oversight of AP, AR, and billing activities, working closely with relevant team members.
• Monitor processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy of invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
• Assist with issue resolution and continuous process improvement in transactional accounting functions.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and internal control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Support preparation for internal and external audits and respond to audit requests.
• Provide financial data and analysis to support management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Identify trends, variances, and areas of concern within financial results.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to support operational and financial alignment.
