Description

We are looking for a dedicated Family Law Associate to join our legal team in the Silicon Valley. This role is ideal for attorneys who are passionate about family law and eager to contribute their expertise to a collaborative environment. Whether you prefer onsite involvement or remote flexibility, this position offers opportunities based on individual experience levels.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, adoption, and support matters.

• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

• Provide compassionate and detail-oriented counsel to clients during emotionally sensitive situations.

• Manage and prioritize multiple cases effectively while adhering to deadlines.

• Utilize case management and document management software to maintain organized records.

• Prepare for and participate in court hearings, trials, and mediation sessions.

• Stay updated on changes in family law regulations and legal precedents.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the firm.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law.

• Proficiency in case management and document management software.

• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and regulations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage complex cases with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience with civil litigation and briefing processes.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Passion for providing exceptional legal support to clients.
