About the Role:
Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic and fast-paced investment firm in search of an experienced HR Specialist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive HR professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys supporting a full range of HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Administer day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records management, and HRIS data entry
+ Assist with benefits administration and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, and procedures
+ Support payroll team with audits, data reviews, and compliance reporting
+ Ensure accuracy and maintenance of employee files and documentation in accordance with legal requirements
+ Prepare and send HR communications, including policy updates, offer letters, and employment verification
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
+ Partner with internal teams to support employee engagement initiatives and internal events
+ Assist in coordinating performance review cycles, training initiatives, and compliance-related reporting
+ Utilize HRIS platforms and Excel to track, analyze, and report on HR metrics and personnel data
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of human resources experience; investment or financial services industry preferred
+ Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar)
+ Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and documentation best practices
+ Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data validation)
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
