Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions within our real estate investment and development organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail and technical expertise to support the company's accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices by reviewing for accuracy, applying proper GL coding, and entering data into the system.

• Prepare and distribute weekly accounts payable aging reports to leadership.

• Handle vendor payments, including maintaining automatic recurring payment schedules.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal team members to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and research any issues that arise.

• Allocate expenses across multiple legal entities using established methodologies.

• Ensure vendor compliance by maintaining updated W-9 forms and preparing year-end documentation.

• Participate in month-end close activities, which include processing accounting transactions and reconciling general ledger accounts.

• Generate financial reports upon request to support management decisions.

• Assist the Accounting and Administration team with ad hoc tasks and special projects as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.

• Strong skills in invoice processing, coding, and data entry.

• Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries.

• Experience with check runs and vendor payment processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies.

• Ability to work with multiple legal entities and allocate expenses effectively.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external vendors.
