Robert Half is partnering with a purpose-driven nonprofit organization. With a strong commitment to transparency, collaboration, and impact, the organization is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Administrator to support operations and ensure organizational effectiveness.
Position Summary:
The Senior Administrator will play a key role in keeping the organization running smoothly and efficiently. This position supports leadership and department heads with high-level administrative functions, project coordination, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced administrator who thrives in a mission-driven setting, brings strong attention to detail, and can manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide senior-level administrative support to executive leadership and department teams
+ Manage daily operations of the office, including scheduling, internal communications, and document management
+ Oversee internal workflows, improve administrative processes, and ensure compliance with organizational procedures
+ Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and materials, and track follow-up action items
+ Support HR, finance, or program teams with administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting, vendor management, or grant tracking
+ Serve as a liaison across departments, helping ensure alignment on timelines, priorities, and cross-functional projects
+ Maintain confidential records and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
+ Help onboard new staff and manage internal administrative systems or databases (e.g., CRM, HRIS, project management tools)
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of progressive administrative or operational experience; nonprofit experience strongly preferred
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
+ Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication
+ Technologically proficient: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project tracking tools (Asana, Trello, Monday, etc.)
+ Experience supporting HR, finance, or programmatic teams is a plus
+ High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
