Description

Our client, a respected boutique law firm located in downtown Minneapolis, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join their growing Mass Tort practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a passion for complex litigation and representing plaintiffs in impactful cases.

Responsibilities:

+ Represent plaintiffs in mass tort cases, including class actions and multidistrict litigation (MDLs)

+ Manage all phases of litigation from discovery through trial preparation

+ Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and conduct legal research

+ Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies

+ Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel

+ Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ JD from an accredited law school and admission to the Minnesota Bar (or eligible to be admitted)

+ 2 to 7+ years of experience in complex litigation, preferably with exposure to mass torts, class actions, or MDLs

+ Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills

+ Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
