    Position: Temporary Day Hab Nurse (LPN)

    Coverage Period: June 16, 2025, to September 5, 2025

     

    Employment Type: Mondays-Fridays from 9am-3pm, Temporary

     

    The Arc of Opportunity is seeking a compassionate and experienced Day Habilitation Nurse (LPN) to temporarily join our team from June 16 to September 5, 2025, covering staff leave.

     

    This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities through

     

    our MassHealth Day Habilitation Program, helping them reach their fullest potential in a person-centered, supportive environment. Even if you’re only available on certain days of the week, we

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct nursing care and oversight to individuals attending our Day Habilitation

     

    Program.

     

    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure the health

     

    and safety of participants.

     

    • Monitor and assess the health status of individuals and communicate any changes or

     

    concerns to appropriate team members.

     

    • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with MassHealth

     

    regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Current LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.

    • Experience in Day Habilitation, developmental disabilities, or related field preferred.

    • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

    • Familiarity with MassHealth regulations is a plus.
