Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist for a contract to permanent opportunity in Apopka, Florida. This position offers a blend of accounting responsibilities and administrative tasks related to vehicle title processing. The role is ideal for professionals with a solid foundation in accounting who are eager to expand their expertise into title and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Manage general ledger entries and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy in financial records.

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets.

• Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed.

• Process vehicle title and registration documents in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Maintain organized and accurate records of title-related paperwork and transactions.

• Provide administrative support during periods of reduced title processing activity.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounting and administrative tasks.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, including general ledger and balance sheet work.

• Previous experience as a Title Clerk is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial document preparation.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Self-driven and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and account reconciliation processes.
