    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a reliable and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a government contractor located near Camp Pendleton, CA. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, understands the importance of timely collections, and is comfortable working in a structured, compliance-driven environment. You’ll be responsible for managing receivables, posting payments, and maintaining accurate records. If you’re looking for a stable role with a mission-driven organization, this could be a great fit.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Generate and send invoices to clients and government agencies

    + Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances

    + Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts

    + Maintain accurate AR records and documentation

    + Assist with month-end close and reporting

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field

    + 2+ years of AR experience, preferably in a government or contract-based environment

    + Familiarity with government billing standards and compliance

    + Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software

    + Excellent communication and follow-up skills
