Position Summary:
Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic nonprofit organization to recruit a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to the CEO. This individual will serve as a strategic partner and right-hand support to the Chief Executive Officer, managing a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements (domestic/international), and expense reporting.
+ Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents with professionalism and accuracy.
+ Coordinate board meetings and materials, take minutes, and manage sensitive information with discretion.
+ Act as a gatekeeper and point of contact between the CEO and internal staff, partners, board members, and donors.
+ Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while following through on issues in a timely manner.
+ Assist with special projects, internal initiatives, and donor engagement activities.
+ Maintain filing systems, contact databases, and organizational records.
+ Anticipate the needs of the CEO to ensure efficient workflow and alignment with strategic priorities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience supporting a C-level executive, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven environment.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
+ High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based platforms such as Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM or donor management systems is a plus.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
