Intermittent Research Assistant, History

Job Description:
The Research Assistant will support a history professor’s research by identifying and gathering research material and sending this material to the professor. Other tasks will include contacting archives and scheduling the professor’s research trips, as well as contacting potential subjects for interviews and scheduling the interviews.
1. Identifying and gathering research material (articles, books).
2. Contacting archives and scheduling visits.
3. Contacting people about interviews and scheduling the interviews.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in History or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in History or related field
