Job Overview:

The Clinical Supervisor Will Provide overall direction and coordination of clinical services to residents and non-residents, and help improve the quality of client care by providing support, guidance, and instruction to staff handling complex cases.

Qualification

Required:

+ Master s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology is required.

+ LCSW or LPC required.

+ 2 years Clinical experience

+ Supervisory Certificate for NJ

+ Knowledge of the Dynamics of Domestic Violence

+ Completion of the required 40 Hour Domestic Violence training preferred/must be completed within 6 months of hire.

+ Knowledge of the DYFS System helpful

+ Bi-lingual (English Spanish) preferred but not necessary

Essential Functions:

Provide overall direction and coordination of clinical services to residents and non-residents.

+ Provide Crisis Intervention and assist clients in identifying their need for Domestic Violence services.

+ Provide individual counseling to residents and non-residents.

+ Facilitate weekly support groups as needed.

+ Provide Community Education and support outreach as needed.

+ Responsible for other duties assigned by the Program Direct

+ Provide Crisis Intervention and assist clients in identifying their need for Domestic Violence

+ Provide weekly Clinical Supervision for our Domestic Violence Liaisons, who handle complex client cases involving the co-occurrence of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence by helping them to attain knowledge, improve their skills, and strengthen their professional attitudes and values.

+ Provide weekly Clinical Supervision to our Licensed Counsel

+ Help staff understand and respond more effectively to all types of clinical situations by creating a supportive and trustworthy environment in which to explore all client related concerns.

+ Possess knowledge and understanding of multicultural perspectives to enhance cultural competency of the agency.

+ Provide Supervision to interns when needed.

+ Maintain confidential documentation and records.
