We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Solutions Architect to lead efforts in designing, deploying, and managing scalable, high-performing systems for large-scale video applications. This role will leverage advanced video technologies, and microservices, clout technologies architecture to deliver team success and organizational growth.

Role: Solution Architect / Large-scale video applications

Experience: Minimum 15+ years of solid experience.

Job Location: Candidates need to be willing to work in a Hybrid model from the Client’s office in Englewood – CO.

Key Responsibilities

+ Container Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and scale microservices using Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Rancher for enhanced reliability and scalability.

+ Understanding of CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and operate robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and Python scripts to streamline deployment processes and enable faster service rollouts.

+ Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to support team efficiency.

Required Qualifications

+ 15+ years of experience in software development, designing and solutioning.

+ Proven expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and microservices architecture.

+ Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, and Angular.

+ Deep knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Rancher.

+ Linux System programming, C++, Set-Top Box.

+ Multimedia, video domain.

+ Design & architecture middleware for video systems.

Preferred Skills

+ Background in agile methodologies

+ Experience in Developing Web Browser for DTV, STB, SmartTV.

+ middleware for STB/Smart TV platforms

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until August 1st, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68K - $155K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
