About the role
As a Lead Experience Strategist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience for our digital platforms. With a focus on innovation and creativity this role requires expertise in design tools and methodologies to create compelling user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual and interaction design with experience in investment banking operations being a plus.
In this role, you will:
+ Lead the design and development of user experiences that align with business goals and user needs.
+ Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes and visual designs using tools like Sketch Figma and Adobe XD.
+ Provide strategic direction for user interface design ensuring consistency and usability across all platforms.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design elements into product development processes.
+ Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design solutions.
+ Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
+ Develop and maintain design guidelines and best practices for the organization.
+ Ensure that all design solutions are accessible and inclusive for a diverse user base.
+ Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
+ Mentor and guide junior designers fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
+ Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into design strategies.
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.
+ Contribute to the company’s mission by enhancing user engagement and driving digital transformation.
**Work model:** Hybrid.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Washington - DC USA. What you need to have to be considered
• Demonstrate proficiency in Sketch Figma and Adobe XD with a strong portfolio showcasing visual and interaction design skills.
• Exhibit a deep understanding of visual design elements and fundamentals with the ability to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.
• Possess experience in interaction design with a focus on creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Have a background in investment banking operations or brokerage which is considered an asset.
• Show excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Display strong problem-solving abilities and a user-centered design approach.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $142.500 - $167.500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
