Owns/influences commercial business operating guidelines and has ownership/influence over budgets. Guided by functional policy.
Strong change agent and process manager. Strong organizational and execution skills to implement operating mechanisms, create standard work, and drive the overall effectiveness of the Commercial department.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Advisor and executor of the CCO vision for world class commercial organization
+ Helps implement commercial excellence across the globe, including sales processes, sales competencies, and operating mechanisms. Influences policy/processes and ensures delivery across large and diverse sales territories.
+ Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends/leads programmatic projects to implement best practices to improve commercial activities including commercial strategies and approaches to markets and customers.
+ Leads across the department (at the Staff level and below) and cross-functionally to understand pain points and opportunities for improvement to achieve Sales goals.
+ May independently lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
+ Ensures professionalism in internal meetings, helps prepare internal executive presentations, and ensure external engagements reflect the full potential of the GEV Wind business.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelors degree from accredited university
+ Minimum of 5 years of commercial/sales experience and/or management consulting experience or similar internal change management and process improvement experience.

+ Strong oral, written, and presentation skills...and ability to create compelling communication collateral
+ Ability to handle fast-paced demanding dynamic work environment with significant work packages in parallel.
+ Strong interpersonal leadership skills, influencing skills, ambition, and self-confidence.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
+ Broad business acumen
+ Knowledge of Energy market fundamentals
+ MBA or Masters Degree from accredited university.
+ Formal project management and/or process improvement skills (PMP, Lean, 6S, etc).
+ Renewable energy experience
+ Capital equipment sales/procurement experience
The base pay range for this position is $ 174,100.00 - 232,100.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
