    Now Hiring: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Chouteau County, Oklahoma

     

    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Assistant to support students in a school setting. The SLP or SLPA will provide therapy services to children with speech, language, communication, and related disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve their communication goals and committed to creating a positive, supportive learning environment **Position Type:** Permanent Hire

     

    **Schedule:** Full-time, aligned with a traditional 9-month school calendar

    **Pay:** $26.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience

    **Travel:** May involve travel between multiple school sites (mileage and drive time reimbursed)

    Position Summary:

    We are looking for a dedicated SLPA to assist in delivering speech and language therapy services to children with communication challenges. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about helping students thrive and enjoys working in a collaborative school environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Therapy Support:** Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP, following individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.

    + **Progress Monitoring:** Track and document student performance during sessions and share updates with the supervising SLP.

    + **Session Preparation:** Assist with organizing therapy materials, scheduling sessions, and coordinating group activities.

    + **Team Collaboration:** Partner with educators, families, and school staff to support student communication development.

    + **Administrative Support:** Maintain accurate records, therapy logs, and documentation as directed.

    Qualifications:

    + Certificate of Speech-Language Pathology Assisting from an accredited program.

    + Current state licensure/certification as an SLPA.

    + Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.

    + Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
