Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Mechanic Assistant to join our client’s team. This position is perfect for someone with strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working on truck-mounted vacuum equipment. Key Responsibilities:

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

+ Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics

+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on chassis, vacuum bodies, and all related systems

+ Conduct DOT-compliant repairs to ensure rental equipment meets "Ready to Rent" status

+ Complete and document all fleet check-in and check-out inspections

+ Maintain and organize the shop, ensuring safe storage of flammable items

What We’re Looking For:

+ Solid knowledge of truck-mounted vacuum equipment (preferred)

+ Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting experience

+ Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics

+ DOT inspection knowledge is a plus

+ Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

+ Self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask efficiently

+ Must own and supply a basic set of hand tools and storage box (specialty tools provided)

Education & Experience:

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Minimum of 3 years of verifiable mechanic experience

+ Experience with truck-mounted vacuum equipment is highly preferred

**Pay Details:** $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
