$28-30/hr
Pay Range annual equivalent to $58,240 - $62,000

Summary: Oversees Pool and Clubhouse facility operations.
Responsibilities of the SMAG Manager:
+ Supervise the daily operation of the facility. Current hours of operation for the facility will be 8:00a.m. until 9:00p.m. during winter season, 8:00a.m. until 8:00pm in the summer season, and 8:00a.m. until 6:00p.m. in the spring and fall when the facility is open. Scheduled work hours are flexible, Operating hours are subject to change.
+ Ensure that equipment, pool, hot tub, other amenities, and common areas are kept in first class condition at all times.
+ Ensure public areas are fully operational and kept safe and hazard-free for guests, employees, and owners at all times.
+ Hire and train staff according to operational directives.
+ Status reports and other communication surrounding the progress of any capital or repair project shall be provided to the SMAG board and general manager of Storm Meadows in a timely manner.
+ Control access to the facility for members and guests only.
+ Coordinate maintenance and repair functions to the facility around high occupancy periods to minimize any impact to guests and owners.
+ Assist in the preparation of an annual report on the condition of the facility and attend the annual SMAG owners meeting to provide the report and answer related questions.
+ Implement any changes as directed by the SMAG board of directors regarding massage quarters, concierge duties, towel stock, laundry procedures, etc.
+ Supervise staff to assist you in these functions within the financial parameters of the annual SMAG budget as described in the attached schedule.
+ Daily supervision of larger projects including performing any inspection fieldwork necessary to complete and coordinating with maintenance managers when help is needed with capital projects.
+ Consolidate similar projects that will require outside labor in an effort to minimize these costs. Supervise and follow up on any outside contractor work performed in our managed units including the submitting of their final invoices in a timely manner.
+ Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with local vendors and contractors to facilitate quick response and favorable pricing.
+ Implement and maintain a system to alert Owners to projects as they arise. Provide updates until completion.
+ Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, while never sacrificing safety.
+ Take property inspection on a regular basis to assure quality of work being completed.
+ Inspect completed work for conformance to reasonable specifications and standards and hold vendors accountable to address any deficiencies.
+ Interpret company policies to workers, monitor and enforce safety regulations.
+ Responsible for hiring as necessary to operate facility. Hiring and firing functions of staff as well as scheduling. Working with HR to accomplish such tasks.
+ Maintain a pleasant and efficient working atmosphere with all staff members through open lines of communication.

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for hiring and firing direct reports. Responsible for training employees on pertinent tasks. Scheduling for all hours of operation of facility. Responsible for facility during all operation hours.
