    Job Title: DesignerJob Description

     

    This role demands mastery in AutoCAD and complete ownership of facility layouts for multiple high-volume automated pharmacies and office facilities. Collaborate with the broader operations team and capacity planning to draft facility concepts that align with state-of-the-art processes and equipment. Prepare Requests for Proposal with pharmacy automation vendors for expansion and efficiency needs. Manage vendor selection and collaborate closely with partners, operations, facilities, and IT on detailed project planning. Oversee facility modification installations. This position requires significant travel, up to 80% during projects going-live, followed by periods of reduced travel. Collaborate directly with the Senior Vice President of Operations on cost estimation and building of pharmacy capital budgets. Design office spaces, automation, and detailed engineering. This is a hybrid role when not traveling.

    Responsibilities

    + Draft facility layouts for high-volume automated pharmacies and office facilities using AutoCAD.

    + Collaborate with operations team and capacity planning to develop facility concepts.

    + Prepare Requests for Proposal with pharmacy automation vendors.

    + Manage vendor selection and work closely with partners, operations, facilities, and IT on project planning.

    + Oversee facility modification installations.

    + Travel up to 80% during project launches, with reduced travel afterward.

    + Work directly with Senior Vice President of Operations on cost estimation and capital budgets.

    + Design office spaces and automation systems.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D or 3D) with over 5 years of experience.

    + Facility layout and new equipment location drafting experience.

    + Coordination of equipment relocation and installation.

    + Project planning and coordinating skills.

    + Utilities delivery engineering knowledge.

    + Project management experience.

    + Capital planning and budgeting expertise.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree preferred.

    + Network drops and IT installation coordination.

    + Vendor selection and requests for quotation.

    + Software/hardware familiarity.

    + Process engineering skills.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a retail pharmacy operation focused on convenient, direct-to-home prescription delivery for patients. The facility is designed as an office-style workspace, featuring multiple stations and integrated conveyor systems to support streamlined packaging and fulfillment processes. The role involves travel to various locations including New Jersey, Texas, California, and Colorado, predominantly in the first few months, with travel lasting 3-4 weeks at a time. Post-training, travel will be approximately one week each month. All travel expenses are covered, including hotels, meals, and lodging.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $53.00/hr.
