    Will consider entry level Medical Assistants or Certified Nursing Assistants with triage experience.

    Job Description

    As a Medical Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our healthcare team by managing patient interactions and ensuring the efficient operation of our medical facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Rooming patients, managing a volume of 60-100 per day.

    + Updating medical records using Next Gen software.

    + Conducting patient intake and recording pertinent information.

    + Educating and fitting patients with braces for ankles and wrists.

    + Assisting in infection control and maintaining aseptic conditions in the surgery center.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of experience in medical assisting or related field preferred

    + Proficiency in Next Gen software and medical record management preferred

    + Strong communication skills for patient education and intake.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Certification in medical assisting is a plus but not mandatory.

    + Orthopedic and pain management experience preferred.

    + Open to recent graduates with a background in medical assisting.

    Work Environment

    The facility boasts a large practice with approximately 14 providers, fostering a collaborative and positive culture. The work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 8-hour shifts scheduled within this timeframe, providing advance notice for planning. The surgery center emphasizes flexibility and rewards performance.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
