Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist providers throughout the clinic. The role involves accurately recording patient history, retrieving initial basic condition of patients, creating nursing history, and reporting to appropriate practitioners. You will monitor and ensure the accuracy of patient medical records and maintain all required reports and statistics.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and maintain equipment.
+ Inspect area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards; take corrective action when necessary.
+ Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician order and relay information accurately to patients.
+ Take calls from hospitals/nursing homes and relay appropriate information to practitioners in a timely manner.
+ Assure test results are received and communicated to patients promptly.
+ Complete medical orientation checklist and initiate appropriate patient education.
+ Check patient voicemails and communicate test results.
+ Follow up with doctor messages and maintain regular communication through EMR Message center.
+ Schedule patient tests without pre-certification requirement.
+ Prepare and maintain patient charts including insurance, registration, correspondence, and reports.
+ Schedule and coordinate appointments, scans, and tests; confirm appointments and notify appropriate departments.
+ Receive incoming calls to assist patients, physicians, and others with patient-related matters.
+ Perform blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight checks on each patient.
+ Alert physicians of any abnormalities.
+ Conduct medical history assessments prior to physician examination.
+ Maintain medical supplies in exam rooms and office supplies in clerical areas.
+ Handle pre-certification referrals; experience required.
+ Communicate with home health/infusion clinics as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in the state of Tennessee.
+ 2+ years of experience.
+ Proficiency in EMR systems.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Urology experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
