Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The role involves rooming patients, performing point of care testing, taking vital signs, managing phone triage, and scheduling appointments.
Responsibilities
+ Room patients and prepare them for examination.
+ Conduct point of care testing as required.
+ Accurately measure and record vital signs.
+ Perform phone triage and provide appropriate guidance.
+ Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in medical assisting.
+ Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically EPIC.
+ Ability to perform triage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Certification as a Medical Assistant.
+ Familiarity with allergy and asthma care.
Work Environment
The position is based in an Allergy & Asthma clinic. Orientation includes clinical orientation and check-offs with EPIC-EMR, and is mandatory for all 7 days. Orientation occurs Monday to Friday in the first week and Monday to Tuesday in the second week, with each day consisting of 8-hour sessions.

+ Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
