Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 3 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.

+ Experience in coding using Python.

Preferred qualifications:

+ 5 years of experience with a service provider or hyperscale network in engineering or design roles.

+ Experience developing networking products, technologies, software and protocols.

+ Ability to coordinate with various teams to understand partner teams requirements and deliver designs based on those.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Passion for designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Design data center management networks and act as Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a set of networks.

+ Engage in and improve the whole life-cycle of networks including inception and design, qualification and validation, deployment, operation, and optimization.

+ Manage systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.

+ Work with other team members and groups to analyze requirements or potential problems and develop solutions and policy recommendations.

+ Partner with Google’s internal application groups and design network infrastructure which meets their networking requirements.
