    Minimum qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

    + 4 years of motion design experience in product design, UX design, or UX/UI animation.

    + 1 year of experience working as a UX Designer on scaled, consumer-facing digital products.

    + Experience in motion design related to physics, patterns, and visual design elements.

    + Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

    + 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

    + 1 year of experience leading design projects.

    + Experience using motion to reduce perceived latency.

    + Understanding of basic principles of animation, and experience with using animation tools (e.g., After Effects or similar).

    + Ability to combine creativity and code to deliver excellent interactions, using motion to a narrative effect and understanding the future of interactive motion.

Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     + Define and implement the look and feel of Google products through motion design.

    + Provide patterns, standard procedures and guidance on animation and transitions for different devices (e.g., TV, tablets, wearables, mobile, etc.) and platforms (e.g., web, Android, iOS, etc.).

    + Create design proposals and drive projects from concept to iterations and implementation.
