    Responsibilities

    The Clinical Nurse Charge Per Diem is the professional person responsible for the provision of total patient care to a specific group of patients utilizing the nursing process.

     

    + Responsible for the coordination of services provided by other members of the health care team within the guidelines of hospital policy and procedures.

    + May act in a charge nurse capacity and as such directs and supervises nursing care within a specific assigned unit in the absence of and in conjunction with the Nurse Manager.

    + Identifies and corrects nursing service problems and maintains patient care in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory agencies while effectively utilizing the chain of command.

     

    This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement process and activities.\#R

    Qualifications

    + Two (2) years experience performing RN acute care duties required.

    + California Registered Nurse (RN) License,

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

    Pay Range

    $74.05 - $74.05 /hour
