• I/E Technician

    Honeywell (Geismar, LA)


    As a **_I/E Technician_** here at **Honeywell** , you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Instrument and Electrical systems, ensuring top quality and functionality. Your expertise will support operations and deliver exceptional results.

     

    You will report directly to our I/E supervisor and you’ll work out of our Geismar, LA location on a Onsite work schedule.

     

    Responsible for maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair of all instrument and electrical equipment in the plant. Duties also include completion of all regulatory PM’s in accordance with plant procedures. Also be a contributor to continuous improvement ideas within the I/E department. SAP knowledge would be a plus. Good communication skills required. Ability to handle multiple task as well as being able to work well with other departments within the plant site required. PLC and VFD experience would be valuable. Combustion chamber trouble-shooting a plus as well.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair Instrument and Electrical components and systems

    + Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and resolve technical issues

    + Conduct tests and inspections to ensure the functionality and reliability of Instrument and Electrical systems

    + Document test results and maintain accurate records of work performed

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Experience in Instrument and Electrical systems maintenance and repair.

    + Strong technical knowledge of Instrument and Electrical components and systems.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
