This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategic sourcing initiatives for transportation and logistics services across the global Science & Diagnostics business. The position will lead supplier strategy, performance management, and contracts. negotiations, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to ensure a reliable, compliant, and cost-effective logistics network that supports business continuity and operational excellence.
This includes oversight of cold chain logistics, hazardous materials handling, time-sensitive deliveries, and adherence to international trade regulations, including customs, import/export controls, and biological sample compliance.
This is a Hybrid role, where the ideal candidate will be located near either of our New York City, Fountain Valley, CA or Loveland, CO Hubs. The Target Pay Range for this position can be between $105K - $132K annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

Strategic Sourcing & Category Leadership
Develop and deploy a global category strategy using the Mars Strategic Sourcing Methodology (MSSM)
Conduct market intelligence and supplier capability analysis
Implement regional/global sourcing strategies in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
Ensure category compliance with policies, sustainability standards, and supplier code of conduct
Establish and manage long-term logistics provider relationships
Supplier Performance & Relationship Management (SPRM)
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, pricing, and service level agreements
Lead Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews (QBRs/MBRs) to monitor performance and ensure accountability
Identify and develop diverse supplier partnerships
Resolve supplier issues and manage escalations effectively
Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence
Build strong internal relationships across operations, labs, and leadership teams
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on sourcing and category strategy
Lead and participate in cross-functional sourcing and efficiency initiatives
Align sourcing strategies with business goals and stakeholder priorities
Value Creation & Cost Optimization
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across transportation and logistics
Lead cost-out programs to deliver a minimum of 5% P&L annual savings
Benchmark costs and lead should-cost modeling
Drive procurement excellence and lead enhancements in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
Measure, track, and report savings and value contribution
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Engage in upstream supplier innovation efforts
Frame commercial models and supplier-driven innovations to create long-term value
Collaborate with other segments and functions to identify synergies
Influence stakeholders to align with regional and global sourcing strategies
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience
Expertise in logistics and transportation procurement
Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, diagnostics, pharma, etc.)
Strong project and change management capabilities
Ability to travel 10–15% based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field
Global procurement experience, preferably in laboratory or healthcare logistics
Familiarity with cold chain, hazmat, and biological sample handling regulations
Fluent in French or German is a huge plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven ability to drive sourcing strategies and deliver measurable savings
Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills
Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making capabilities
Travel
Will there be notable travel in this position? Yes Percent of time: 10-15%
Working Conditions
The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
