    POSITION: LAK Physician (Unclassified)

     

    DEPARTMENT: Medical Staff

     

    Description: Under the direct supervision of the Lallie Kemp Medical Center Medical Director, the LAK Physician provides direct patient care services for Ambulatory Clinics and Special Program Clinics as well as direct patient care services to inpatients as directed and assigned by the Medical Director; assures proper compliance with all policies and regulations. Works cooperatively with state and local parish boards of health, civic groups, officials, and community partners, and serves as an advocate for Lallie Kemp Medical Center patients.

     

    Minimum Qualifications Requirements: Must possess an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Louisiana. Must be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Must maintain current BLS and ACLS certification by American Heart Association.
